I found that scrawled in big black cursive in the back of "You Shall Know Our Velocity."

I can't stop thinking about it.
When in the hand of a stranger, inscriptions become mysterious.
Who wrote this?
Why does he write so big?
Who is Marie?
Were they lovers, siblings, friends or cousins?
Where are they now?
Why this book?
Why that phrase?
Why the last page instead of the first?
These are the questions that I have.
They make this copy of this book something special.

I wish more of the presents I received were books with inscriptions.
