I came across this album in a bookshop in Lille (France). There was a wall called "various French artists" (but en Francais, of course). I skimmed it, and purely according to artwork, chose Mr. Dutronc. I've been hooked on his happy Frenchness since. BUT, I have to admit; my French is only so-so. So depth of lyrical content hasn't really been a big Issue for Thomas and I.
